This powerpoint is the English version of the lecture portion of a graduate-level class in Design I taught as part of Rare’s Fellow training program (in partnership with the Univeristy of Texas, El Paso) where fellows earned a Masters Degree in Communication.

I worked on two curriculum revisiomns to the marketing portions of the global curriculum in 2012, and later in 2014. I developed eight new marketing classes as part of the completely revised training process.

This presentation is the English version of the Introduction to Design course given to Fellow. The video and animated content has been edited out.

Program PROGress REPORT

Below is a portion of an 45-minute report I presented to foundation officers on the learnings and insights from our marketing campaigns. I put this report together with the help of of colleagues in four countries to analyze the data and synthesize conclusions.

CAPITAL FUNDRAISING PITCH

ROLE: WRITER, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, designer

I was the creative director for the Meloy Fund, a social capital fund developed in 2016/2017. I executed the brand, website, social media, and marketing material, including this pitch presentation. The Fund’s creator attributed much of the fund’s early financial investements -$16 million at start up - in part to the strength of the marketing materials.

COMMUNICATIONS TRAINING Powerpoints

As Creative Director in the Dev/Com Department at Rare, I developed training materials for the organization’s new brand after the launch, including a new powerpoint template to ensure consistency across all departments in Arlington and our four global offices.

I used this presentation during Zoom conference calls with the global offices.

Note: A section on installing the theme in office for MAC and PC computers has been edited out.

I worked directly with C-suite executives to develop and produce their presentations. This example was used when discussing scale goals.
